Assessable is an exciting EdTech start-up using AI to mark Key Stage 2 English writing. As Product Manager, I lead on product development & testing—working closely with both teachers and developers to ensure we’re building a platform that genuinely works for both sides of the classroom – learners and their teachers.

Being involved from the early stages means I’ve had the opportunity to shape processes from the ground up. I’ve introduced systems to support the team’s workflow and continuously review how we work to ensure we’re moving efficiently and collaboratively.

Balance is one of Assessable’s core values—something I strongly believe in and aim to support all my clients to achieve through thoughtful, streamlined processes.

As Product Manager, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring we’re building a product that genuinely meets the needs of our users—bridging the gap between teachers and developers with clarity and purpose. Ali | Independent Social Worker

Ali (Sea Social Work) is an independent social worker who was looking to bring more structure and efficiency to her business operations. We work together on a weekly basis, providing regular accountability, soundboarding, and process optimisation support.

I began with a full audit of her existing systems and have since introduced improvements to her filing and tracking systems. One key addition has been an automated method for tracking time spent on each case—helping Ali quote more accurately for future work and better understand where her time is going.

Our ongoing work focuses on creating clarity, reducing overwhelm, and ensuring her business runs as smoothly as possible—freeing up more time for what really matters: her clients.

Sam has helped me beyond belief to get to grips with my business processes. As someone with ADHD, I needed some steer in terms of how to declutter my processes, planning my work, and finding ways to streamline admin. Sam took time to listen, fully understand not just my business but my work and life ethos and support me to apply it to my work. I always say, everyone needs a Sam!!!

Fay | Nursery Owner

Fay (Molesey Day Nursery) runs a highly respected nursery known for its outstanding quality of care and strong reputation within the local community. I carried out an operational audit of the nursery, producing a detailed report highlighting areas of strength and offering practical suggestions for further improvement.

While the nursery was already performing at a very high standard, I was able to identify a few key opportunities to enhance efficiency. One example was the introduction of a composter—an idea that aligned perfectly with the nursery’s strong commitment to sustainability. With a lot of fruit and vegetable waste generated on-site, composting could not only reduce waste management costs, but also serve as a learning opportunity for the children—feeding into the nursery’s brilliant garden space.

This project was a great example of how small, strategic changes can support both operational efficiency and core values, creating benefits for staff, children, and the environment alike.

Sam brought a fresh perspective and picked up on things we’d never even considered. Her suggestions were practical, thoughtful, and aligned perfectly with our values. The composting idea was a game-changer—both for sustainability and the children’s learning.
